Method of Learning:
PowerPoint presentation and hand out. Demonstration and hands on practice. Massage chairs are provided for class use.

Learning Outcomes:
Participants will learn two chair massage routines. One deals with general techniques and the other with an emphasis on muscle stretching techniques. The methods from both programs can be easily interwoven.

  • Will be able to utilize proper body mechanics

  • Ability to set up, adjust the chair and perform seated chair massage routines

    Prerequisite:
    Completion of at least a 500-Hour Massage Therapy/Bodywork program or other Health-Care Practitioner program
